  • Learning mindfulness- reduce vulnerability to emotional mind- over thinking
  • Interpersonal effectiveness- develop strategies for positive interactions
  • Emotional regulation- identify and learn emotions as well as strategies and obstacles to changing emotions
  • Distress tolerance- increase positive emotional events

Life can be challenging especially when we are experiencing overwhelming emotions. This group will offer you straightforward exercises in a safe and encouraging environment. You will be able to put the strategies in to play in your life immediately; experience the relief that you are truly looking for.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) Group

 EFT- sometimes referred to as Tapping is a powerful method used to reduce and even remove emotional and physical distress related to anxiety, depression, pain and physical symptoms, phobias, weight loss and addiction

  • stress reduction- relaxation
  • realign your body’s energy system
  • clear emotional blockage
  • reinstate balance
  • increase optimal mental, physical and emotional health
  • develop positive affirming sentences
  • rewrite negative self-defeating beliefs
  • Distress tolerance- increase positive emotional events

After working through an issue using EFT, you may be surprised by how much easier it is to no longer behave in the old unhealthy way. Desired behaviors, thoughts and emotional control will come easier to you–you have changed inside and are a different person around this issue.

Studies have also proven the effect that EFT tapping has on reducing the emotional impact of memories and incidents that trigger emotional distress; some would refer to this as trauma.

Being a mom is one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences you will ever have- over and over again. Sometimes it feels more challenging than rewarding and the truth is that its ok to admit that.

You don’t have to continue to hide your feelings. You can learn  how to get through this time in your life and you don’t need to do it alone.
